Description for Item # 438353927

This 1936 Colt Model Ace was sold to the United States Government Commanding Officer U.S. Coast Guard Curtis Bay, Maryland June 1st 1936 in a shipment of 50 guns. I do have the Colt factory letter. The gun is matching slide and frame and correct in everyway When I got the gun it has a local gunsmith reblue, So I had the gun restored to new condition by the Master Colt restorer Steve Moller of Fulton Ill. Restored guns by Mr. Moller are highly prized and his work is second to none. Very few out there would know this is a restored gun I saw a ACE sell for $8000. and if the guns were side by side you wouldn’t see any difference. I have a lot of pictures to see the condition, the gun is a lot better then what I can capture. There is a reproduction box and instruction sheet with gun, it makes a neat outfit. I will need a copy of your dealer’s FFL or your C&R. Shipping to the lower 48 is $45.00
