Description for Item # 399165735 

 

Colt 1911 Lower, Government Model. Complete as pictured without grips. 1956 Commercial, Original Blue is Excellent, Rubs and scuffs, no Rust. There is the usual rub from Slide Stop. Rubs outside of where the grips are. There was a Pachmyer wrap a round Grip on it, that rubbed an outline of the edges on the right side a little. There was an Ace Wide Trigger Shoe on it. There are 2 rings from Set Screw on the Trigger. I’ll include the Trigger Shoe, if you want it. Some light Trigger work done. The back of the trigger has Brazing to thicken it. Action is smooth, Trigger feel is clean. The Finish is excellent. No dings or dents, just rubs from normal use. Shipping is $20 from Private Party to your FFL. If it must be shipped from an FFL, add $25. Payment by Postal Money Order preferred. All other forms of payment may be held up to 10 days at my discretion. So please send a Postal M/O. Ask for pictures, I will send close ups.[Information added 3/9/2014 6:00:45 PM]To answer some questions, first I apologize for any Confusion. This auction is for a complete Lower minus grips. I posted pictures without any parts installed to show the rubs and scuffs on the bare frame. Also to show there is no rust. There are pictures with grips to show the bare spots that would be visible if standard size Colt wood grips were used, the grips aren’t included. I added 3 pictures, to show what is included. A complete working lower. As stated, the Action is smooth and trigger pull is crisp. When I bought, it had a 22 Conversion kit. That’s why there is no top end.
