UP FOR AUCTION: Colt 41 Rimfire Derringer #3 Thuer. Very nicely displayed on all wooden plaque with Pinkerton Detective Agency Badge. Gun has been on plaque for a very long time and I have not ever removed it from plaque. Marked on top of barrel COLT. Gun still has traces of original nickel on grip of gun and side of gun. The action seems to work except it seems to need a main spring. The hammer works on half cock and full cock. There is no pressure on hammer when cocked back but trigger and hammer both work. Hammer will not work on it’s own you have to push it forward. Pretty neat little display. Guarenteed to be a real Colt derringer. I have never had the badge off so I don’t know if the badge is authentic or not. By looking it appears to have pin on back of badge but not sure. Plaque size is 7 1/2 inches by 7 1/2 inches. On the back side there is a chip missing from the wood but it can not be seen from the front side when hanging on the wall. Gun and badge all have turned a good looking gray black patina color.Plaque and gun have normal scratches and ware from being handled. Must be sent to FFL Dealer or C&R License because these were made until 1912 and not sure what year this one was made. Gun has lots of eye appeal. Would look good hanging in office or gun room. Shipping is $20.00 in US. Insurance is $1.30 per $100.00 value and I will leave the insurance up to the buyer. ***PLEASE L@@K AT MY OTHER AUCTIONS***.
